Marketplace Operations Lead

IN A NUTSHELL

Bellroy has built a strong digital presence, offering our products in nine languages and across 15+ online marketplaces like Amazon, Rakuten, and The Iconic. As our footprint grows, we’re looking for a Marketplace Operations Lead who’s passionate about process improvement, systems thinking, and ensuring our marketplace content runs like a well-oiled machine.

In this role, you will lead the operational engine behind our digital marketplace presence. You’ll oversee the deployment and maintenance of content across these platforms, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and seamless updates, while continuously refining the systems and workflows that make it all run. You’ll guide a small team and play a key role in building scalable, structured processes as we expand. If you love creating order, optimising workflows, and solving problems others haven’t yet noticed, this one’s for you.

YOU COULD BE THE ONE IF YOU…

  • Have 3–5 years of experience in digital operations or marketplace roles, ideally with 2+ years of people management experience and some exposure to Amazon.
  • Enjoy building systems and processes that scale. You naturally seek ways to improve workflows, eliminate inefficiencies, and bring clarity to complexity.
  • Are a problem solver at heart – you love untangling issues, spotting patterns, and asking “how can this be better?”
  • Are detail-oriented and organized, capable of managing multiple projects and moving parts without letting anything slip.
  • Are confident using spreadsheets and digital tools to manage and analyze data, track progress, and drive decisions.
  • Communicate clearly and collaborate well across teams. You’re as comfortable in the weeds as you are explaining the big picture.

IF YOU WERE HERE LAST MONTH, YOU MIGHT HAVE…

  • Met with the team to discuss the current status of task assignments in Asana, identified potential bottlenecks, and collaborated to develop solutions that unblocked workflows and kept projects on track.
  • Overseen the launch of a new product on Bellroy.com and fifteen Amazon platforms – proactively identifying and resolving issues to ensure a smooth rollout.
  • Worked with our Amazon Account Manager and Creative team to discuss the roll-out and needs for Amazon Prime Day Campaign.
  • Worked with the Sales Operations Lead to create a project plan for a new marketplace we are launching on; including but not limited to resourcing, content creation process, etc.
  • Onboarded a new translator to support our expansion into a new Amazon country platform, managing the process to ensure timely and accurate delivery of translated content.
  • Analyzed marketplace performance metrics to identify trends, flag underperforming products, and suggest content optimizations that improve sales and engagement across key marketplaces.
  • Audited a key workflow that had become inefficient, mapped out a new approach, and led the team through implementing a cleaner, more scalable process.
  • Spotted a recurring issue in our marketplace content syncing and coordinated with internal teams to solve the root cause, improving accuracy across all platforms.

LOCATION AND HOURS

This role is full-time and based in our Collingwood office, with an office-centric hybrid schedule

Bells Beach

Notre QG à la plage se trouve juste derrière une grande dune de sable qui surplombe les spots de surf les plus réputés d'Australie. C'est là, dans le Maker Lab, que nos Product Designers innovent et que notre équipe commerciale passe la journée sur Skype en consommant une quantité copieuse de café. L'ambiance est plus tranquille ici que chez nos voisins de Fitzroy et nous aimons nous concentrer sur notre processus créatif. Nous allons au café d’à côté dès que nous avons une petite faim ou que nous voulons espionner les surfeurs. Parfait pour se ressourcer en respirant un peu d'air (salé) frais.

Fitzroy

Notre espace Fitzroy se trouve au cœur de Melbourne, où nos équipes créatives, marketing, ingénierie et opérations travaillent sur les campagnes et l'expédition sécurisée des produits Bellroy dans le monde entier. En sortant, vous découvrirez des rues animées (et le meilleur restaurant de ramen à cette extrémité de Tokyo).

A distance

En plus de nos deux sièges sociaux nous avons une équipe qui travaille à distance - de l'Australie occidentale à des régions de l'Asie, aux États-Unis, à l'Europe. Être global est au coeur de Bellroy car cela nous maintient connectés et nous permet d'envisager la vie sous plusieurs regards.
